“I am inspired, energized and excited. Let me send great congratulations to the Echo Theatre Company on their inaugural production, BRILLIANT TRACES. This is the best work I’ve seen in many months, and I want to tell everyone reading this that you MUST see this … Director Eric J. Little and actors Danyel Read and Brad Price are giving the St. Louis community an opportunity to see what modern American acting is all about. They have taken a good script by Cindy Lou Johnson and given it a lean, sinewy production: full of passion and a total commitment to the words, story and characters … The acting is uniformly excellent.  Danyel Read manages to give the illusion that she is about to levitate off the stage at any moment. No wires involved … Brad Price brings to it an understated danger and a vulnerability that is very hard for an actor to pull off convincingly without seeming weak. Price is up to the task and draws the audience in to care deeply for his character … Again, I urge you to go and see this exciting, vital example of live theatre at its best. Young, hungry actors; no money for sets and costumes; just the acting and storytelling. If you miss this you will have missed the real thing.”

“BRILLIANT TRACES was a social and emotional gift. It made one reflect, think and react in way that was entertaining as well as informative. I personally was unprepared to leave a theatre on a Friday night in tears - tears of joy, pain and cleansing.”
